G’day Legends! I’m stoked to be offering this news.

In early 2023, I was on tour and took my freshly made Lab Systems bass head on the road with me. One venue had a cab there that needed a connection none of us had. Uncannily, they had an old-school GK head there as a spare. On the fly, I dialed it in and used it for the show.

I messaged Gallien Krueger through Instagram months later and explained that I used their head for the show. Little did we both know, this would be the connecting link.

Being complimented on my tone is common for me, but not when I’ve rocked up to a venue and used new gear, t's usually equipment that I'm familiar with.

Later in 2025, we discussed working with each other, and as the planets had aligned, I was preparing for a big shoot. The pic above is taken from that exact day, where I was presented with a Legacy 800 head and two CX 410 cabinets.

I’d call the shoot a success, especially in the tone department. Working with GK is great; they’re a family-owned and run business who stayed true to their roots. Being featured on the site is something I’m proud of, next to some of the greats. Cheers, guys, and I look forward to many more videos and shows.
