G’day Legends! I’m stoked to be delivering this news update.

Covering this track was really something special.

Could I have done it with a pick? Nowhere near the way I would have wanted to. It's already a masterpiece; adding my chordal wiring over the intro and verbatim slapping Justin's parts felt right.

The rest was a journey of what to put where.

A nice double-pluck fill leading into the chorus and using the lower register of the neck over the main riff in A worked well. After the bridge and through the outro are a mix of parts I'd had written for years through jamming this track. Putting them all together is what was the challenge, as it is with all of my covers.

'What makes this playthrough stand out is the pedal work. Turner leans on a Digitech Bass Whammy to capture the pitch effects that are such a signature part of the track. The result is a high-energy run through one of bassdom’s most recognizable lines, and Turner absolutely nails it.'

'Between Supposed Lovers' is heaven to slap underneath, and I love that bass rhythm through the section. Matching Danny in the outro felt like I was there with him haha."

Cheers guys for the write up,

I really hope you enjoy it.

Onwards and upwards,

Kade
